A new mix of the song was done, now with backing vocals by Liana, and a new piano part, just for the video. It will take a couple months for the post-production so stay tuned!

Digital Representation - The Video
In February, Devin Tait & The Traitors will film a music video for "Strange Season," with Melodie Simond and Rick Skripp, the team behind Invisible Material's "Grown Man Cries" video which both Devin and Brandon were part of.
Meanwhile, Devin decided to put together a video for "Digital Representation" just for fun, using an iPhone app called Video Star.
"I'm increasingly open to using new forms of technology to express myself and to easily make fun projects to represent my music," Devin said. "When smart phones first came out, I have to admit I thought they were stupid. 'Who wants to surf the web, read a book, or watch a video on a tiny phone?' Well, once I finally got a smart phone myself I realized the convenience and allure of having the entire internet in the palm of your hand."
Devin is gearing up for a busy 2013, in which he hopes to release the follow up to his debut album, It's Never The Way You Imagine It, which is currently titled Art Damage.
"Art Damage is not going to be a huge departure from my last record," Devin said. "Hopefully it will sound much more polished, as I've been learning a lot about songwriting, performing, and producing music in the years since I released my debut. If anything, it will be more concise and catchy. I tried to focus on pop, making the songs easily accessible to a large audience, but all the while retaining my off-kilter sensibilities and idiosyncrasies that make me different. It's pop that's been damage by artiness, and it's hopefully better for it."
Songs that have already been performed live include "To Be Young & On Downers," "Quickie," "Speed Dating," and "Here's The Thing." The first single from the new album is expected to be "Now I Know What I Want," to be released in early summer.
As Devin and the band move into the next phase, promoting and performing songs from Art Damage, this blog will most likely be left as an archive to the It's Never The Way You Imagine It era.
